About Casey
If you ask Casey, he’ll tell you “I am a dad, a husband and then a businessman.” He is proud to tell you he grew up in a family where the value of hard work was taught early and Casey still believes success is a result of “hard work, persistence and integrity.”
Persistence and a knack for entrepreneurship also came early,
“I was about 6 when my family was building a barn on our property. This barn would later house the office for our family’s Christmas Tree business and a craft boutique. My grandpa told me he would give me a nickel for every nail I collected. At the end of the day he nearly fell over when he had to pay me almost $50!”
During his time in the corporate world Casey worked his way up from an entry level laboratory position to CEO. He has been responsible for everything from Chemistry and Biology to Sales, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing and Operations. Casey will tell you “I am fortunate to have worked with some amazing folks, traveled to a lot of different places and enjoyed a few successes.” He still likes to keep up with this industry because there are so many people and companies working to improve access to better health care and bring new tools/technology to fruition.
According to Casey, challenging situations are where he thrives –
“I have a great story about how one evening I found myself needing to hire an entire village in Ireland. Ask me about it and in addition to the the story about making a bad situation a little better I will share with one of the best places and some of the greatest people in the world!”
Originally from Southern California, and still most comfortable wearing a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops, Casey and his family live on their small farm in northeast Ohio. When he’s not hanging out or traveling with his family he enjoys hiking, cooking, and investing.
Casey’s interest in real estate developed at a young age, with several members of his family in the construction business. Always looking at properties with his parents, it was only natural that real estate would have a place later in his life too. In 2001, at 20 years old, he purchased his first investment property. Since then, Casey has renovated and flipped properties, invested in other people’s deals, and purchased several buy and hold commercial and residential assets. Although the market has changed many times, Casey has found success through a disciplined approach. At KMCG the focus is on commercial real estate and Casey combines his business experience with his passion for real estate.
“My background and experience can help, I am able to speak the language, sometimes a foot in the door. If nothing else, we can relate to our tenants as businesspeople, many of us, myself included, have been on the other side of the table."
Casey’s unique background and disciplined approach have provided the opportunity to attract a great team and successfully acquire and operate several properties. If you’re interested in investing with Casey, please reach out and connect.
